Questions

What do you do?

1

I care for the wellbeing of dogs, and occasionally cats, in their own homes. I bring together laser therapy, massage, Reiki, botanicals and nutrition in what I call the Synergy Protocol. Each one supports the others, and every dog has a plan made for them.

Do I need a referral from my vet?

2

For a dog with an injury, an illness or a diagnosed condition, yes. Your vet will examine your dog and refer them to me before we begin.

What happens at the first visit?

3

I meet your dog at home, hear about their history and routine, and give their first session. Afterwards, I suggest a plan for the weeks ahead.

How do I begin?

4

Send me a message on WhatsApp, or make an enquiry, and I will reply as soon as I can.

Your dog’s care

How often will my dog need sessions?

5

Most of the dogs I see have a regular slot, once or more a week. Some need more at times, from two or three sessions a week to daily, whenever the body needs extra support. Each session builds on the one before, so the rhythm matters, and I recommend the right one for your dog.

How long is a session?

6

Up to 40 minutes per animal, shaped around what your dog needs that day.

What is laser therapy, and does it hurt?

7

I use a 904 nm laser. Its light is absorbed inside the cell, in the part that makes its energy, and research suggests it supports energy production and circulation in the area. It is quiet, it does not get warm and it does not hurt. Most dogs feel nothing at all, or only a gentle sensation.

Do you see cats?

8

Occasionally, yes. Most of the animals I see are dogs.

Visits and travel

Which areas do you cover?

9

I visit families in Chelsea, Fulham, Kensington, Knightsbridge, Belgravia, Mayfair, Marylebone and Notting Hill, and further across London. Occasionally I travel outside London, depending on my diary and the area. Travel is added to each visit and depends on where you live. Send me your postcode and I will confirm it.

Can you travel with us?

10

Yes, by arrangement. Some families like their dog’s care to continue while they are away, and the details are agreed with you in advance.

Can my PA or staff arrange sessions?

11

Of course. Your PA or a member of your team is welcome to look after bookings and admin. Anything about your dog’s sessions and wellbeing, I share with you directly, so nothing is lost along the way.

Do you work with families outside London?

12

Yes. I offer online sessions and distant Reiki for dogs anywhere in the world, and I am also happy to travel to you by arrangement.

Good to know

Are you a vet?

13

No. I trained as a veterinary nurse in Denmark and was authorised in Norway, where I practised. I am not a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) with the RCVS, and I am not a veterinary surgeon. My sessions sit alongside your vet’s care and never replace it.

Can you work alongside my vet?

14

Yes, always. For a dog with an injury, an illness or a diagnosed condition, your vet examines your dog and refers them to me before we begin. Your vet can send me their referral at lahwellbeing.com/vet-referral.

How much do sessions cost?

15

Fees are per animal, per session, and include VAT. Travel is added to each visit. You can see every fee on my Fees page.

What happens if we go away on holiday?

16

If your dog has a regular slot, it is kept for them while you are away, and missed sessions are charged as usual. Please let me know at least two weeks ahead, so I can help your dog ease into the break. I can also travel with your family, by arrangement.
