I work in private homes, and I treat your information with the same discretion. This policy explains what I collect, why, and the choices you have.

Who I am

Lilo Ask-Henriksen · Holistic Animal Wellbeing is the trading name of Holistic VN Ltd, registered in England and Wales (company number 17079362). I am responsible for your information, and you can reach me at hello@lahwellbeing.com.

What I collect

  • Your name, address, email and phone number, and those of anyone who books for you, such as a PA.

  • Your dog's details, health, medication and history.

  • Your vet's details, and the clinical history your vet shares with me.

  • Bookings, payments and our messages.

  • What you send through the enquiry form, and your newsletter sign-up.

  • Basic information about how this website is used, through cookies.

Why I use it

  • To care for your dog and run my sessions: booking, reminders, invoices and notes. This is needed to provide the service you asked for.

  • To work with your vet: only with your agreement.

  • To keep records: I must keep financial records by law.

  • To send the Inner Circle letter: only if you sign up, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

  • To keep this website working well: through cookies, which you can manage in the cookie banner.

Who I share it with

I never sell your information. I share it only when needed, with:

  • your vet, with your agreement;

  • the services I use to run my practice: Squarespace (website, forms and newsletter), Acuity Scheduling (bookings and reminders), Stripe (payments) and Google Workspace (email);

  • my accountant, for my records.

Some of these services store information outside the UK. Where they do, they use the safeguards UK law requires.

How long I keep it

  • Client and dog records: six years after our last session, as the law requires for financial records.

  • Enquiries that do not lead to a booking: up to twelve months.

  • Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.

Your choices

You can ask to see the information I hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to limit how I use it. You can also withdraw your agreement at any time. Just email hello@lahwellbeing.com and I will reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how I have handled your information, please tell me first. You can also contact the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Keeping it safe

Your information is kept in secure, password-protected systems, and only I can see it.

Changes

I may update this policy from time to time. The version on this page always applies.
